Fitness center to hold charity day

A free workout for charity to support the Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust will be hosted later this month by Michelle Densmore, an expert in weight loss, at Lucky13Fitness in Burlington.

The Crowther family established the Trust in September 2001 when they lost their son Welles on 9/11. The organization focuses on benefiting young people by recognizing and rewarding excellence in athletics and academics displayed by young people who give back to their community by means of character development, health, recreation, and education. Other charitable organizations geared towards young people are also supported by the Trust through special awards and gifts made on an annual basis.

Densmore commented that this is the second year that she has hosted this charity workout, added that it is fortunate that her business, which has been successful, is able to give back to the community. She had a special connection with Welles and is glad that she can hold this event at this particular time of the year.

The free workout will be held tomorrow, September 24, starting at 11:00 am. Densmore’s Lucky13Fitness personal training studio in Burlington, which provides fitness coaching, small group classes, and personal training, may benefit from the assistance of a local printing company to create Flyers and other materials to promote this event throughout the community so as to educate people regarding the Trust and raise as much money as possible.
