Business planning workshop announced in Burlington

A workshop aimed at helping businesses increase their profits has been scheduled in Burlington.

The quarterly event will offer advice in specific areas of business practices, and how to use the principles discussed to increase chances of success. The topics to be discussed include:

  • how to create business goals that are specific, achievable, and measurable;

  • how businesses can create plans to improve on their current results;

  • how to focus on strategies to use in business;

  • how business people can learn to master the time available, and identify priorities;

  • how businesses can create the best mindset for the organization;

  • how to look at their business realistically, including where it works well and where it needs improvement; and finally

  • how businesses can develop the plans that will help them reach their goals.

The upcoming workshop is a half-day, and will focus specifically on strategies for dealing with profitability, marketing, and sales; using processes and systems to be more productive; and how to build a team that gets results. The workshop combines quarterly business planning with goal setting, and organizers hope to see attendees of the workshop gain inspiration to do things differently in the coming months, to see an improvement in their businesses.

The workshop is set for January 9, from 7.45 am until 12.00 pm at the Grand View Farm Conference Center on Center Street in Burlington. The price for the session is $250. Brochure printing can be used to create materials for events like this.
