A Mexican eatery and tequila bar, Temazcal Tequila Cantina, will be opening in Burlington this month in the space formerly occupied by Papa Razzi. This is the third location for the restaurant in the area with additional locations in the Seaport District in Boston and at Market Street in Lynnfield.
The restaurant will seat 200 people and offer an upscale Mexican menu, designed to capture the essence of Mexican cooking. All dishes are made with fresh, local ingredients and dishes prepared from scratch. Featured will be lobster guacamole, enchiladas, and fajitas. There will also be over 250 varieties of tequila on the beverage menu, along with wine, beer, and signature cocktails.
A bar will be centrally located on the main floor, with an outdoor patio off the main level. There will be additional seating upstairs and a space for private events.
Restaurant hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every day of the week.
Chef Osmaro Morales will head the kitchen. He has previously worked at Elephant Walk, Masona Grill, and Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse.
A fourth location in the area is planned for Legacy Place in Dedham to be opened later this summer.
