Burlington golfers are invited to swing into a new season by including an upcoming fundraiser in their plans for this spring.
Habitat for Humanity works throughout the year to make sure everyone has a space to call home, and a tournament on the agenda at Ferncroft Country Club will help to fund its efforts. The release for the occasion explained that last year, the group was able to provide a new home for 10 local families in need, and there are 18 more homes on their way to welcoming new occupants.
The afternoon will kick off with a shotgun start and follow a scramble format, and special Golden Hammer Tickets will be on offer to make the occasion even more exciting, and those who choose to purchase one will have access to a set of additional perks. Non-golfers can still get involved by choosing to sponsor the event, with eight different levels for them to choose from.
Golf fundraisers are often popular and can also be fun for all the players. Corporate Gifts may be a good choice to use as prizes for a fundraising competition, and these will be on offer at local printers.
Ferncroft Country Club will be teeing off in support of families in need on May 31. The golfers will be hitting the course at 1:00 pm.
