Sweet-toothed individuals from all over will be attending this year’s Chocolate Extravaganza in Burlington, and it promises to be a tasteful time for all.
Spectators at this event, which according to its website celebrates exceptional quality chocolate, will have an opportunity to see for themselves how this sweet treat is judged, and even sample some of the entries.
The chocolate creations will be judged using a set of criteria, including its texture, color, scent, and taste. Anyone who is interested is welcome to submit an entry of their own, and, and those who preregister to do so will not pay an entry fee. One the day of the event, the fee to submit an entry will be $5 for adults and $2 for a child. The recipe used must accompany each submission.
The categories that have been included in the contest are the likes of cake, bars and cookies, pie or torte, candy, and cupcakes. There is also an ‘anything goes’ grouping, where people are invited to submit their favorite creation that uses a Nestlé brand product, and a bake off has also been planned. Stationery printers can be called upon to design and Print certificates for the winning entries.
