Record earnings for Beverly tech company

Beverly-based Axcelis Technologies, Inc., a supplier of ion-enabling semiconductor industry solutions, has announced record high in year-over-year revenues. Earnings for the company have been on average over 30% for the first quarter of 2022.

Several kinds of printing services are often used to make such announcements throughout an industry, and to potential investors.

Industry analysts cite that the industry served by the company, one that delivers implant-intensive power devices, is undergoing significant expansion of its markets. The company is leveraging its Purion product extensions to meet the requirements of its customers.

This past quarter, the company announced the shipment of two Purion H200 high current implanter evaluation systems—the medium current Power Series of the Purion M line and the Purion EXE high energy implanters. The manufacturing of mature process technology and DRAM memory devices requires the use of these systems. Multiple fabrication sites in Asia and Europe received shipments of these systems.

In addition, during the last quarter, manufacturers of CMOS image sensors to Asia received shipments of the company’s Purion VXE high-energy systems. This is part of the Purion XE high energy implanter line. It also sent several shipments of its medium current implanters in the Purion M series to technology device makers. These significant shipments have indicated they had a positive effect on the growth of the company.
