Beverly will soon be showing it knows how to throw a great party, and everyone is on the guestlist for the celebration.
The community's Jacob Brower Day will kick off its Special Event Days. Slated for Lynch Park, the event will be a prelude to Independence Day with a theme of red, white, and blue.
The kid-focused celebration will see an assortment of games set up, and music will add even more fun. Everyone can cool off in the water hose dance party, and when the time comes for a bite to eat, hot dogs will be served to the crowd. Everyone is reminded to bring their towel and bathing suit, and they can expect to get wet.
The activity will be open to kids in the BevRec Parks and Camps programming, and those who participate in one of these activities will need to be at their park in time for the bus pickup at 8:15 am. It returns between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Event organizers can turn to area Stationery printers to supply them with Copies of waivers, Letterheads, and other documents they may need.
Jacob Brower Day is scheduled for Thursday, July 2. The festivities will kick off at 9:00 am, and more details for parents, including a list of what their child should bring, can be found on its web listing.
