New waterfront restaurant to come to Beverly

The Mission Boathouse restaurant will soon be opening on Water Street in Beverly.

Marty Bloom, owner of the restaurant, said that it will be big, spanning three stories and seating 350 people. Bloom, who is a veteran restaurateur, said that this will be his 36th restaurant and will be the biggest of them all. Such restaurants benefit from the help of banner printing, which can provide more information about upcoming projects.

The first floor will have an outdoor deck with firepits while the second and third floors will have windows on three sides of the building, with views of the waterfront. Garage door windows on the third floor will open in warmer weather, giving an outdoor feel to the space.

The main floor of the restaurant will be the second floor and will operate year-round. It will have a large, rectangular bar with a wave-like design on the sides, a fireplace, an open kitchen, and a function room for about 30 people. Dining and larger functions and private events will be on the third floor, while the first floor will sell meals to go and will have a bar.

The menu will include more than seafood items. Wellington Augusto, chef and Bloom’s business partner, is a native of Brazil and likes to make all his dishes from scratch. Augusto said there will be flavors from all around the world, including Asian, Argentinian, Colombian, Cuban, and French.
