New mixed-use development to come to Beverly

Erland Construction will be building a new mixed-use development in downtown Beverly.

To be known as “The Block at Odell Park,” the development will span just over 167,000 square feet and stand six stories high. It will feature 106 apartment units, 9,000 square feet of retail space, and many other amenities. The development will be next to the Beverly Depot Train Station, which is the third busiest commuter rail stop in the city.

Designed by SV Design, the property will incorporate a prominent corner element of the Joseph A. Appleton Building, otherwise known as the Hotel Walter. There will be studio apartments, as well as those with one and two bedrooms. There will also be a fitness center, a two-story parking garage, space for a lounge and billiards, and a courtyard.

A sky lounge and roof deck will be prominent features of the development, which will afford views of Odell Park and the waterfront of the Bass River. Printing services are often hired to create colorful Brochures and Flyers with more information and details about such properties.

Residential Group Manager of Erland Construction, Eric Greene, said that this development will add to the already busy downtown that offers beaches, restaurants, and places to work. He added that this will be great place to live, as it will have easy access to Route 127 and is within walking distance of the train station.
