New Mexican restaurant to come to Beverly

Rantoul Street in Beverly will soon be the home to late night tacos.

The co-owners, Shahab Afsharian and Francisco Lepe, had planned to open the eatery serving authentic Mexican food last year until the pandemic hit. They decided to wait until circumstances improved and will be opening Nacho Tacos next week. Such eateries often use Promotional Products to market and advertise themselves in town.

Afsharian is from Mexico City and is the visionary for the restaurant, while Lepe, who is from Guadalajara and has over 20 years’ experience managing kitchens of Mexican restaurants, will be responsible for the cuisine. Afsharian believes that this is a successful combination of skills.

Nacho Tacos occupies the space between the Gentile Brewing Company and Old Planter’s Brewing Co. and will be able to seat 24 people. It will also offer a take-out service and there will be QR Codes at Planter’s and a take-out window at Gentile Brewing so that customers can order food from the eatery. Afsharian said that this arrangement is ideal as neither of those serve food, and he feels that tacos are an ideal accompaniment to beer.

Afsharian plans to keep the eatery open late, as few restaurants in town cater to those who are looking for food during the late hours after a night on the town.
