The Greater Beverly YMCA will be hosting a seminar later this month to help parents of students intending to go to college with the information they need to manage the various aspects of the college search.
The seminar is opened to parents of sophomores, juniors and seniors and will be presented by Michael Daley. Topics that will be covered in the seminar will include what role parents play in the process, financial aid, the application process, reviewing and visiting schools, and preparing an efficient timeline.
This is one of the many programs that the Greater Beverly YMCA provides to improve the health and wellbeing of the community, nurture the potential of every child and teenager and give back to the community. Its healthy living programs include personal trainers to customize fitness plans and a state-of-the-art fitness center while its youth development programs include an after school program for elementary and middle school students, gymnastics for all ages and levels of ability, and arts and humanities.
The session will be held on Tuesday, March 31 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Sterling YMCA and is intended to be an interactive discussion. Preregistration is required for the seminar. The Greater Beverly YMCA has turned to a local Print company to create a flyer for the seminar to attract as many parents as possible. Get a Free Quote for Print
