Beverly theater announces final show of the season

The North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) in Beverly has revealed that its next production will be The Bodyguard, and shows are about to start.

The show is based on the popular movie from 1992 and will star Judson Mills and Cheaza Figueroa in roles made famous by Kevin Kostner and Whitney Houston. Productions such as this one are often promoted and advertised through a variety of printing services.

The show tells the story of Frank Farmer, a former Secret Service agent who becomes a bodyguard for Rachel Marron to protect her from an unknown stalker. It becomes a romantic thriller as the two unexpectedly fall in love. The show features the music of Houston, including 15 of her most popular songs.

There are 19 members in the cast with Joshua McKenna, an eight-year-old resident of Beverly, making his debut as Marron’s son.

Owner and producer of the NSMT, Bill Hanney, expressed his excitement about ending the season with this thrilling production. Nick Kenkel, the choreographer and director, who has been responsible for previous well-received productions of Evita, Legally Blonde, and Dreamgirls, will be bringing this show to life with an exceptional creative team and cast.

The show will run from tomorrow, October 29 through Sunday, November 10. Shows are at 7:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday, at 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
