Kids and adults alike may want to attend an event being co-hosted by the Beverly and Endicott Police Departments, and it has been organized especially for autistic people.
Many autistics also have sensory processing issues, and this has been kept in mind by the planners of the Touch-A-Truck event that will take place at 376 Hale Street. There is no charge to enter, and all ages may take part.
People who stop by can view a variety of first responder vehicles such as police cars, fire trucks, and also construction and other equipment, and there will also be comfort dogs on hand to meet. The sounds and lights will be kept low so that those with sensory sensitivities can be accommodated, and anyone who would like to purchase a drink or a bite to eat will be able to do this on site.
Events planned with those with an autism spectrum disorder in mind may require a variety of printing services. Materials such as social story sheets, Promotional Products, and other swag can be ordered from an area Print shop.
