Beverly will be opening the summer festival season with a gathering that will put the talents of its artistic community in the spotlight.
The city will once again be hosting its Arts Fest, which will be held outdoors on a day in mid-June, rain or shine. The list of participating artists tops 125, and this roster has been juried by the organizers.
The items in the mix will include pottery as well as handmade clothing and accessories. Fiber works of art, home decor, art prints, cards, paintings, and jewelry will also be on offer. Both new and returning artists will be on hand for the occasion. The makers will be coming in from across the state, and to keep the kids happy, there will be special activities for them. The area’s food service community has been invited to participate.
An outdoor festival takes advantage of the pleasant weather of early summer. Banner printing services for a special occasion can be accessed at a Print shop in the local area, and made waterproof just in case it rains.
Cabot Street in Beverly will be the venue for this annual celebration of area artists, which is now in its 22nd year. The fun will begin at 10:00 am, and a portion of the street will be closed to vehicle traffic to accommodate the activity until 6:15 pm.
