Beverly event to point the way toward energy savings

Most people would be quite happy to save some money on the monthly power bill, and a Beverly event can highlight the ways to do so.

Beverly Public Library has invited locals to attend a workshop that will cover a variety of ways the public can cut their electricity costs. It will be facilitated by a representative of State Renewable Energy, and those who bring along a current power bill will be able to access personalized advice.

The facilitator for the activity will discuss ways that households can become more energy efficient, and the attendees will learn how to read and understand their electric bill. Kilowatt hours and what they mean will be introduced, and surcharges and delivery charges will be reviewed as well. A discussion about renewable energy and the role it can play in providing power to the public will wrap up the activity.

Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important topic, and workshops and other learning events can make it easier to acquire information. Packages that include leaflets, promotional Pens and other premiums for an activity can be put together by area Print shops.

This class on learning how to become more energy efficient is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20th. The location for the session will be the Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex Street, and everyone is asked to be in their seat by no later than 5:30pm.
