The Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce is looking to create an ongoing Women’s Series that will be started later this year and is forming a ‘Power of Women’ Committee that will design, develop, and launch the series.
Volunteer committee members are needed for the committee, which will build a series of three events this year and then four annual events thereafter. Women in all levels of business will be featured in these events, which can be panel discussions, individual presentations, lunch and learns, and networking events, designed to address issues currently faced by women in business. The initiative is expected to be informative, fun, and inspiring, and attendees might well use the opportunity to exchange Business Cards.
The Chamber will also be holding is annual Fall Gala next month at Danversport. The Gala will include a cash bar, dinner, auction items, and prizes. There will also be an opportunity to win a cash prize of $10,000. It is expected that there will be over 250 leaders from the business communities of Beverly, Danvers, Wenham, and Hamilton to be represented at this event. The Fall Gala will take place on Thursday, October 10 beginning at 5:30 pm.
The Chamber will also be holding an After-Hours networking event on Wednesday, October 16 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Channel Marker Brewery in Beverly.
