Play performance prepares to entertain Jefferson residents

Jefferson residents looking for an entertaining show will want to leave space in their calendar for next month, as a performance is coming to a local venue.

Beetlejuice Jr. will be coming to the Jefferson area soon to provide a historic and exciting performance. Fans of the 1988 Beetlejuice movie, and its more recent sequel, will be in for a treat, as the play acts as a musical based on the movie’s script.

The musical’s story follows the main character, Lydia Deetz, who has moved into a haunted house with her father in the midst of grieving following her mother’s death. Beetlejuice, a mischievous demon, takes viewers on an entertaining journey while Lydia’s father attempts to impress a potential business client. Flyer printing is a proven grassroots method to promote such shows in and around the community.

Attendees will arrive in an immersive atmosphere at the theater, setting the tone for the show to come. Seats are limited, and early booking is recommended to ensure a spot at the performance.

The Jefferson Performing Arts Center in nearby Metairie will host the performance, which is scheduled to open on Friday, June 20 and continue until Sunday, June 22. Shows start at 7:30 pm on the Friday and Saturday, with a 2:00 pm Sunday show. Tickets are available for $34 per attendee online.
