Battle of the bands thrills Jefferson music lovers

A musical competition is getting ready to take center stage near Jefferson next month, with top bands in the area competing for fame and campus bragging rights.

The Battle of the Bands: Tulane vs. Loyola has officially been scheduled at a venue just outside of Jefferson, and music lovers who want to find the next big thing will want to attend. The competition will be a high-energy affair that pits bands from Tulane University against those from Loyola University to determine who takes bragging rights back to their campus.

The event, which is open to interested parties 18 years and over, will give each competing band a 45-minute set to play their best songs in an attempt to win the crowd’s favor. Organizers will want to use poster printing to create colorful Posters to promote the event, increasing attendance and maximizing impressions.

Delvin and the Shades will start the evening off at 8:30 PM, before giving way to Off Broadway. Neon 3D CD Party will be third in the lineup, with Homesick taking the final slot. The winner will be announced at the end of the evening.

The battle is scheduled for Friday, February 6, with the doors opening at 8:00 PM. It will be held at Jimmy’s Music Club on the outskirts of Jefferson. Tickets are $10 per guest online.
