Jefferson dog show to salute mans best friend
Jefferson canine lovers who have always wanted to know how a dog show operates are invited to attend one such event that will put these furry friends center stage.
The Metairie Kennel Club and the Louisiana Kennel Club of New Orleans have come together to host the Lagniappe Classic, and each day will feature nearly 1000 entries. Most of the breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club will be represented, and the public is both welcome and encouraged to stop by and see what it’s all about.
Along with the regular show, the organizers have included a “Best Lagniappe Puppy” as well as an instalment of the National Owner-Handler Series and a National Owner-Handled Series competition. While there is no charge to attend the function, the planners have made a request that everyone who comes out bring a generous contribution of pet food which will be passed along to animal shelters in the area.
A large event like this often calls for lots of printed materials, and local printing services companies can rise to the occasion, They can include the organizers logo design on the many of the items it produces, and can work with almost any budget.
This salute to man’s best friend will be held in the Pontchartrain Convention and Civic Center from July 30th until August 2nd. The doors will open at 8:30 am and the competition will run until 5:00 pm each day.
