Jefferson area outing to create new crop of campers
Camping offers a thrifty way for families to enjoy a memorable vacation, and those who have little to no experience with spending a night under the stars may want to register for this special learning activity.
Loop Nola has undertaken a variety of service projects that connect kids with nature, and it will be offering an opportunity to participate in its Jefferson area Camping 101 workshop. It will give both parents and kids a taste of what camping is like so that they will be able to plan and enjoy their own outing in the future.
The event, which is for parents and kids to attend together, will teach the basics of camping. Gear, safety, pitching a tent, building a fire and choosing a location will all be discussed, and the registration fee is $20.00. As the function will be taking place in the fall, it will have a focus on preparing the attendees for autumn, winter and spring outings.
The planners of this learning opportunity explained that they appreciate the support of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, which has chosen to sponsor the event. The logo design of both of these companies have been added to the event’s description.
