Whether they are interested in filling their garden for the first time, are in the hunt for a rare species, or simply need to pick up a few filler plants, a Jefferson area event is preparing to welcome area home gardeners.
Pelican Greenhouse recently released the dates for its schedule of spring pop-up plant markets, and they will have plants, accessories, soil, and straw. It was explained that those who arrive early will be able to access the best selection of species and cultivars, and there will be staff on hand to offer assistance.
Shoppers will be able to fill their baskets with choices from the hundreds of varieties available. The price starts at $3 for a 4” pot, and small succulents potted in clay will be $4. Cell packs, plants potted up in one- and three-gallon containers, and roses will also be on offer.
A plant sale or other horticultural event gives the public an opportunity to both purchase plants and gather helpful advice from those in the know. Packaging supplies, care tags, labels, and growing guides can all be prepared by brochure printing companies.
The Pelican Greenhouse Sale will run from March 1 to March 3. It will pop up again from May 10 to May 12, and June 14 to June 16. These markets will all be on offer at 1 Palm Drive in New Orleans.
