Thanks to an upcoming pet friendly fundraiser, April is about to get a lot more fun for Jefferson area furry friends.
Families, including their four-legged members, are invited to include a community celebration in their plans for the spring, and while they enjoy themselves, they will be doing a good turn for local animals that need some care. It is scheduled to take place in the Par Des Families, and is being offered thanks to the cumulative efforts of a variety of not-for-profit organizations.
The function will be filled with an assortment of pet-themed fun. Live music will be playing, and everyone can visit the craft marketplace to do some browsing and buying while supporting local small businesses. A companion animal parade and costume contest are in the works, and everyone will be able to learn about the dogs, cats, and other animals up for adoption. Food trucks will round out the celebration.
Community festivals can be effective at raising both funds and awareness. A poster printing company will have many ways of promoting such occasions, and their customers can choose the ones best suited to their needs and budget.
The Paws in the Parc celebration will be welcoming the public on April 2. The festivities are scheduled to kick off at 10:00 pm.
