Jefferson area celebration to greet springs arrival

A well-loved tradition is set to return to the Jefferson area for another year, and it promises to have the whole town hopping.

This year will mark the 7th for the New Orleans Moms Blog Easter Egg Hunt, and its organized noted that it will be even bigger than before.

New for this year, it will be held on the grounds of the Children's Hospital State Street Campus, and it is expected that at least 1,500 people will come to the event.

An assortment of activities are on the agenda for the day, and these include egg hunts that will be divided by age. There will also be food and beverages available as well as face painting, a drum circle, a visit from some of the animals from the Audubon Institute Zoomobile, and plenty more to see and do.

To aid in planning the occasion, the organizers are requiring everyone to register ahead of time, and they will all need a ticket to enter. These passes cover the cost of all the activities and food. A festive item for a day like this can be designed by a local banner printing company.

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place on April 6, and tickets go on sale starting on February 26. It will start at 10:00
