The historic Monarch Building in downtown Covington is currently being renovated as the future home of DBL Law.
Those living in Southgate who work for the law firm will soon have a shorter commute from its current headquarters in Crestview Hills.
The final steel beam has been installed and signed by the iron workers on the project, and includes a small evergreen tree and an American flag. This typically signals that a building is close to being completed and exemplifies the pride the workers have in the building.
The Monarch Building will have 34,000 square feet of office space for the law firm. Two floors will be added to the building, both of which will have balconies overlooking the Ohio River. There will be an atrium area and 30 parking spots on the property. Another new building will be constructed next to the existing building. The moving of a company’s headquarters often requires the services of Stationery printers for the creation of new Letterheads, Business Cards, and other materials.
Albert Fedders and construction manager Chris Thurston from Fedders Construction are partnering with Allen Haehnle, a developer from Covington, on the project. Mr. Fedders said that the new headquarters for DBL Law in the Monarch Building will be a great asset to the skyline of Covington.
The project is expected to be completed by the fall.
