Customers will be able to reserve their parking spaces at the River Center Garage and Midtown Garage with this system. This may be helpful to residents of nearby Southgate who want to visit the city.
ParkWhiz can be accessed by a mobile app or through a browser online. Those coming to Covington will be able to secure their parking space before their arrival and will also receive directions to their garage of choice through connected guidance apps. In addition, enabling customers to reserve parking in advance will reduce their time spent searching for open spaces with parking meters, giving them more time to spend in the city.
Officials from CMVPA also view the program as a practical way to help drivers overcome the traffic challenges caused by the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project while optimizing the use of what the city has to offer for parking.
Executive Director of the CMVPA, Jack Monts de Oca, said the hope is that more people will start using this “safe asset"
“By deploying online reservations that guide customers straight to the garage at a very competitive price, our hope is that more people will start utilizing a safe asset that’s only a few blocks from a lot of places they want to be.”
More details about such new systems and how to use them can be provided with the help of brochure printing services.
