London sets date for Halloween fun

London’s downtown retail district is one of the city’s top shopping areas, and to celebrate Halloween, it will be rolling out the orange and black carpet to local ghosts and goblins.

The district has set the date for its Boo on Main for 2024, and it will welcome families for two hours. While the kids trick or treat, their parents or guardians can learn more about what downtown business and other establishments have to offer.

All downtown companies and groups have been invited to join the fun, and they can set up and man a "stop” where they may hand out candy, Promotional Products or other treats. Each business or group that registers will receive the use of a table, and the registrants may bring more if needed. Each will need to provide at least 3000 items to distribute.

To further market the participating companies and organizations, the planners explained that they may include a small premium or advertisement with each item they hand out. It's been requested that these be no larger than the size of Business Cards, and these may be placed in treat Bags. The final date to request a space at the function is October 18th.

This evening of spooky fun is on the way for London, and it will run from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on October 26th. Its Facebook listing can be consulted for more information and a registration link.
