Quilting is a hobby that creates functional works of art, and a London series will give old and new quilters alike a chance to hone their skills.
The four day “A Stitch Between Years" quilt camp will be on offer at the Laurel County Cooperative Extension Office, and Robbin Davis will be the facilitator. It is intended for those ages 18 and up.
Those who register for the camp will be working with the “wind drifter” pattern, which features a stylized pinwheel design. The participants can choose the size of their project, and while they work, everyone can relax, chat, and enjoy one another's company. A list of materials needed, as well as cutting instructions, will be delivered to the paid registrants through email ahead of the first instalment, and each day runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The registration fee is $50.00.
Crafting camps and other activities make it possible to enjoy hobbies as part of a larger group. Stationery printers may be happy to help by preparing printed materials lists, pattern sheets, care instructions and other items for the attendees.
This quilting camp for London adults will open on December 26th, and it will also take place on December 29th, 30th and 31st. More details and a sign-up link for anyone interested can be obtained through its web listing.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
