London set to show its civic pride

National Clean Up Day encourages cities, towns and other communities all across the country to show their civic pride, and London has added its name to the roster.

The citywide project, which is being undertaken ahead of the World Chicken Festival, will see individuals and groups join together to give the streets and green spaces a good tidy. The organizers explained that they want the day to be fun for all who get involved, and those who would like to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand are asked to register ahead of time.

Anyone who Signs up to participate has been asked to indicate the section of the community they would like to work in, as well as the estimated number of people that will be in their party. Prize draws will take place, and everyone who gets involved will be able to walk away happy that they have shown their city some love.

Print shops can help to make a function like this a success in a variety of ways. They can provide signage, lanyards, and T-Shirts for the organizers and coordinators, as well as Corporate Gifts to present to each member of the community who lent a hand with the project.

London will be enjoying this spruce-up event on September 18. A sign-up link for the day can be found by visiting the city’s website.
