London plans patriotic celebration

London is set to show its American pride when it lights up the sky with a fireworks show billed as the largest display of its kind in Southeastern Kentucky.

Red White and Boom is set to kick off the summer season with a patriotic celebration a few days before July 4. The fun will get started in the late afternoon, and there will be all sorts to see and do for all ages.

The plans for the event see local food trucks roll in, making it a good chance to show some love to these mobile eateries. There will be games and also live entertainment, along with other family-friendly fun. The London Community Band will be performing patriotic themed tunes at First Baptist Church, and the organizers have expressed their appreciation for the support civic and corporate partners have given to the event.

Communities across the USA will be celebrating the nation’s birthday in their own special way. Reusable decor can be prepared by a banner printing company, and since these items can be deployed more than once, they make economic sense for event organizers.

This chance for all London residents to join their neighbors in a spirit of celebration will be ramping up at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 29. The fireworks will go up at dusk at College Park.
