London online workshop to make meal prep a snap

A London workshop will show people how they can save time over the holiday season by preparing meals in advance.

The Freezer to Crockpot Meals learning session will take place online, which means that everyone who registers will be able to follow along right in their own kitchen if they wish. Both nutrition and taste will be important considerations in the recipes, and they are designed so that they can simply be put together in a crockpot and left to cook throughout the day.

The students will be taught how to prepare an assortment of ingredients ahead of time so that they can be frozen and used as needed. A variety of dishes will be included, and the goal is to make preparing homemade meals as quick and easy as ordering in.

Many organizations have chosen to shift their programming to an online format. This may be a good option for cookery classes, and the planners will even be able to order recipe Books from local Print shops to mail out to each person who supplies their contact details.

The function is a production of the Laurel County Cooperative Extension program, and there is no fee to register. The Freezer to Crockpot Meals workshop will begin at 6:00 pm on the evening of Thursday, December 2.
