The holiday season is a time for friends and family to gather, and an in-person crafting event can be a great excuse to do so.
The London Children's Museum will be welcoming creative kids, as well as parents, who would like to bring some cheer to the community’s older adults. They will be preparing Holiday Cards to give to the residents of Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly, and this activity is included with the regular admission price to the facility.
The goal is to prepare at least 160 cards, so any help will be appreciated. The supplies will be provided, and the project will be running throughout the day on its scheduled date. To bring even more warmth and comfort to the recipients, anyone who brings along a pair of mittens to donate will receive a discount on their entry fee. These will be taken along with the cards for donation to the home.
An opportunity to perform an act of kindness for others gives young and old alike a chance to discover the satisfaction that can go hand in hand with helping others. A flyer printing company can be helpful in keeping the public informed about activities on offer near them.
The London Children's Museum will be hosting its card making day on December 22nd. Everyone is encouraged to drop by and lend their talents to the occasion.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards
