London library plans petting zoo

London kids are about to be treated to a day of fun on the farm, thanks to an event popping up this October.

The Laurel County Public Library will be welcoming more than 50 farmyard friends to its Barnyard Bonanza petting zoo experience on offer at its Main Branch located on College Park Drive. It is intended for kids and their parents or guardians, and admission will be free.

Families who take part will be meeting an assortment of livestock, including mini cows and horses. They can pet the rabbits, get to know a miniature donkey, and visit with the sheep and ducks. There will be many photo ops, and the Pens with the animals will be set up in the field located in front of the library building. While the zoo may be able to accommodate larger groups, the organizers have asked people to contact them in advance about this at 606-864-5759.

A community function may call for the services of a banner printing professional. It can prepare many types of Banners and signage, and they may be crafted so that they can be used just once or over and over.

This chance for London kids to make some new furry friends will be offered on October 12. It will begin at 10:00 am and wrap up at 2:00 pm.
