London Harley dealership to host late spring toy drive

While the winter holiday season may have just ended, the crew at a London Harley Davidson dealership is already thinking about putting smiles on kids’ faces again this summer.

Whitley County Motorcycle Group/ Backroads of Appalachia (WCMG/BOA) recently announced that its third annual fundraiser for the Toys for Tots program. Everyone is encouraged to get involved whether they ride or not, and a special run is also on the agenda.

Anyone who would like to support the activity has been asked to drop off a new, unwrapped toy, and these will be gathered and passed along to Toys for Tots of South Central Kentucky and the Joe C Paul Marine Corp League. Donuts and coffee will be served so everyone can get their day off to a fun start, and a ride has been organized that will follow a route along Appalachian Gateway 80. The recommended registration donation amount of $20 each.

A motorcycle ride or other group activity may attract major attention to a cause. A banner printing company can prepare materials to carry during a special event, and this can raise even more public awareness.

The WCMG/BOA Christmas in June Toys for Tots coffee meet and greet and ride will be on offer on June 1. Kickstands will go up for the run at 12:00 noon.
