This August, Mustangs and other Ford vehicles will be rolling into the London area from all across the country for an event that will try to break a world record.
Ford and Somernites Cruise have joined forces to organize what they hope will be the “World’s Longest Ford Parade.” It is part of the larger Somernites SuperCruise, and every Ford owner is encouraged to join the fun and help bring the title back to the USA.
According to the listing for the activity, the current title holder for the parade is in Bulgaria. It was set in 2016 and it contained 1,326 vehicles. The release went on to say that all makes of the brand are welcome with the exception of Edsel, Lincoln, or Mercury.
An attempt to break the record for the longest Mustang parade will be held as well. The goal is for there to be at least 1,500 Mustangs on site, and the public can stop by and cheer them on.
Car clubs often host events throughout the summer, and many choose to provide collectible dash plaques to the participants as a memento of the day. These may be on offer at a local printing services company, and may include an organization’s Logo Design.
This potentially history-making event will kick off at 12:00 noon on August 27th in downtown Corbin.
