A Pow Wow has been planned for the London area, and this gathering, which has been sponsored by the Kentucky Native American Heritage Museum, Inc., will honor the community’s veterans.
The organizers of the 12th Annual Honoring Our Veterans Pow Wow have built an agenda that offers lots to do for all the event’s attendees, and a drumming competition will recognize the talents from kids all the way up to seniors. Admission is $7 for adults, and veterans who have ID will be admitted for free, as will children under the age of 12.
As well as the drumming competition, the attendees at the gathering can count on having fun, as there will be music, dancers, story tellers, and other activities. A petting zoo and pony rides will keep the kids entertained, and an obstacle course, bounce house, and climbing wall will be on offer as well.
