Opossums, which are one of the few marsupials to be found outside Australia, will be taking pride of place during a London activity that will introduce these shy creatures during a local event.
The community will be celebrating its 3rd National Opossum Day with a special celebration, and the guests of honor will be the USDA educational Ambassador Opossums. The Tractor Supply Co. located at 100 London Shopping Center will serve as the venue for the function, which will be held in the afternoon.
The public that stop by can meet the opossums in person, and there will be information shared about these creatures and the role they play in the environment. There will be a variety of fundraising Promotional Products for sale, and while donations will be welcome, they are not required. The movies raised will be donated to the Wilderness Trail Wildlife Center Furwin, and the organizers explain that they greatly appreciate the support shown by Tractor Supply Co.
