The London-Laurel County Farmers Market has consistently proven to be a popular event held each spring and summer, and those who are interested in becoming part of the activity are encouraged to get involved.
The market gives the community a venue where they can support local market gardeners, as well as other growers and crafters, and everything available for sale will either be grown or made by hand. The organizers work with the area's Extension Office to provide learning opportunities to the vendors, and its application system is now open.
The series of pop-up sessions will kick off in May, and in a release, the planners explained they are pleased to welcome familiar faces as well as new ones. The markets will take place on Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and the weekends tend to be especially busy. The vendors are free to choose the days on which they wish to participate, with the calendar running from May until October.
To help makers who plan on selling homemade foods, the organizers have prepared a document that offers tips for Packaging, labelling, and handing out samples. Pre-printed labels and other supplies will all be available at a local printing services company.
The London-Laurel County Farmers Market will be opening its 2022 schedule in May and the date for the first session will be released soon. It will be held at 100 West Dixie Street. The planner may be reached by calling 1-606-521-9219 or by visiting its website
