The Lexington Children’s Theater has several productions lined up for this winter season.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever the Musical will be performed on November 30 at 2:00 pm, December 7 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and December 8 at 2:00 pm. The story is about a Christmas pageant in which the bratty Herdsmen kids are participating, and the wonder of holiday music and dancing. School matinees will be held on December 2-6 and December 9 at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
Aesop Fables on Stage will be performed on December 14 at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm, and December 15 at 2:00 pm. A trio of storytellers use music, dance, and humor to enact some of the most famous fables from the Ancient Greek storyteller. School matinees will be performed December 12-13 and December 17-19 at 10:00 am and 11:00 am.
The Princess and the Pea will be performed on January 25 at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 7:00 pm, and January 26 at 2:00 pm. School matinees are January 28 to 31 at 10:00 am and 11:45 am. Printers design businesses cards for organizations like this.
The venue was founded in 1983 and has theater classes and performances. Metered parking is available on Short Street and The Square parking garage, and there are several restaurants nearby. The Lexington Children’s Theater is located at 418 West Short Street.
