Childrens class teaches etiquette in Lexington

A workshop on manners that is designed for children has opened online enrollment, giving Lexington parents a way to promote proper dining etiquette to their little ones.

The Mini Manners Class, which is being presented by Nancy Boatman Etiquette, is coming up at the end of August, providing Lexington children with a setting where they can learn with their peers while enjoying punch and cake. The class serves as an introduction to proper table manners, making it an excellent fit for beginners.

Students will be led by Nancy Boatman, a certified etiquette consultant, who will explain the importance of etiquette and manners, along with the ways that students can use manners in daily life. Cake and punch will be used as learning aids to promote Boatman’s basic table manners. Flyer printing is a cost-effective and powerful marketing approach for promoters of events like this, allowing them to reach a large audience.

The class is designed to cater to elementary school-aged children. Parents are asked to dress their children as though they were preparing to dine at a nice restaurant or a family party. Arrangements can be made to allow registered children to sit with friends.

The Buttery at the Sayre School in Lexington has been announced as the class’s host. The class starts at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 30th. Tickets are limited and cost $35.88 per child online.
