Lavender festival generates excitement in Lexington

A craft fair and lavender festival is coming to Lexington next month, and area residents will want to save the date for a memorable shopping experience.

The English Lavender and Crafts Fall Festival, presented by Mom-Mom’s Lavender, is preparing to welcome guests for an immersive visit and shopping experience. The festival will focus on celebrating all things related to lavender and crafting, as the English lavender tends to bloom a second time in the heart of autumn.

The anticipated event brings lavender enthusiasts together from across the region. Craft lovers are also encouraged to attend to find handcrafted jewelry, decor, and other goods. The organizers have partnered with the animal rescue foundation Paws 4 the Cause to bring the festival to life. Interactive workshops will be held throughout the festival, allowing participants to learn more about growing and harvesting lavender. Lavender-inspired culinary treats will be available for purchase, taking taste buds on a memorable ride.

The festival will be held on Saturday, October 18th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Mom-Mom’s on S. Cleveland Road in Lexington will be the host site. Tickets are available online for $12 per person.
