Lexington residents who are ready to indulge in the finer points of the fall season are in luck, as a local cider company is preparing to host a festival.
The 6th Annual Cider Tasting + Festival, presented by Wise Bird Cider Co., will begin welcoming guests this November for the chance to learn more about a local business and discover a taste for cider. The experience is open to families with children, though all who wish to sample the cider options must be 21 or older to purchase sample tickets.
In addition to Wise Bird Cider Co., organizers anticipate over a dozen additional cider producers from Kentucky participating to make connections and showcase their seasonal and normal products. Cider producers from France, Spain, and England are also expected to be on hand. Wise Bird Cider Co. has also announced that they will use the festival to debut one of its newest creations, POMMEAU, a dessert-style wine. The experience will be completed with games like bocce ball and cornhole.
The festival is being hosted at 1170 Manchester Street in Lexington. The doors open at noon on Sunday, November 8th, and tickets can be purchased online for $41.54 per guest.
