Parents with students in Lexington can help set them on a path toward success in the information technology field this summer, thanks to a four-day coding camp.
The Week of Code Summer Camp (Level 1), which is being organized in Lexington by Awesome Inc., has announced that enrollment is open online for a week-long coding camp that is designed to introduce coding fundamentals to local students between 9 and 16 years of age.
The camp, which gives students the chance to spend summer making apps rather than playing them, will offer a fun and safe space for growth and creativity. Enrollees will learn the skills necessary to create mobile apps, websites, and video games with step-by-step instruction from the camp’s warm and welcoming team.
Each student will have completed a web page, mobile app, and video game by the end of the fourth day. Organizers can use brochure printing to provide all the information about summer camps like this to parents in town, building trust and credibility.
Participants will leave with more confidence due to their logical thinking skills and creativity. The experience is also highlighted by the unplugged activities and games that campers will participate in.
Awesome Inc., located on East Main Street in downtown Lexington, will host the coding summer camp, which begins on Monday, June 8th, at 1:00 PM. Registration is $375 per student online.
