The Lexington Children’s Theater has set holiday shows that will be streaming for children and adults, with A Wrinkle in Time, Elves at Play, and ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas on the schedule.
A Wrinkle in Time will be shown November 6- 29 for ages eight and up. There are three episodes of this, and purchasing a pass allows families access to all three shows via internet. Access codes will be mailed via email to customers.
The play is about Meg Murray, her strange brother, and her father who is missing. Three cosmic creatures contact her to go across the galaxy to find her father and save the planet from the forces of evil.
Elves at Play, a streaming production, will be shown December 5- 19. Aimed at children from two to five years of age, it is an interactive production where elves sing, make a mess, and encourage kids to participate. It will be shown on Zoom.
‘Twas The Night Before Christmas will be shown December 11 – 31, and is for kids from grades K-5. It follows Clement Clarke Moore on his journey to write a Christmas Eve poem, and his two friends that visit from the North Pole.
