The 5 Across Entrepreneur Pitch Competition will start in a few weeks, and aspiring business owners are encouraged to dress their best and pitch their ideas for the chance to win funding and prizes. The event will pit five Lexington startups against each other for an opportunity to win $5,000 in funding for their business ideas.
The five businesses will pitch their ideas to a panel, with panelists voting on the best idea and determining which pitch wins the prize money. The winning entrepreneur will claim $500 cash and a $5,000 SAFE note from local bank Keyhorse Capital. The event will also include a catered meal for attendees and participating competitors.
