A new project is underway in the United States with the goal of bringing people together in 100 cities across the nation, and Lexington residents are invited to join.
The 100 Cities Project: Fighting Loneliness in Lexington dinner will welcome guests later this month for a social dinner experience designed to help individuals in cities make new friends and connections. The event aims to provide a fun night out with friends while supporting small businesses in Lexington.
Guests will take part in a spontaneous evening that will put registered guests in groups with other peers looking for new connections and friendships. It provides an ideal way for people new to the city to start forming a friend group and avoid the possible adverse health effects that can come with loneliness. The dinner will also support worthy causes, with 25% of the proceeds going to charity. Business card printing can help individuals who attend such events exchange information with others and create a positive first impression.
Upon registration, guests will receive a questionnaire inquiring about their dietary restrictions, hobbies, interests, and age. Organizers will also share information about which charities will be receiving the money raised by the dinner.
The host venue in Lexington will be announced in the coming weeks, with the dinner scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM on Friday, July 25. Tickets are available for $13.26 per guest online.
