The Kentucky Women’s Business Expo returns to Lexington next month, offering small business owners the opportunity to collaborate, and discover affordable educational opportunities in their field.
Organized by Premium Vendors, the one-day conference will offer opportunities exclusively available to women. New small business ideas, including companies offering resale clothing, cosmetics, food storage and jewelry will be on site, giving attendees a chance to preview their wares before signing up. The exhibition will also have a panel of experienced women sharing their successes, strategies to engage and retain customers, and potential future opportunities. Several door prizes and vacation giveaways will be raffled off to attendees as well.
United Vendors of America Inc. will be the exhibition’s main sponsor. The organization offers an online course for small business owners, called the Vendor’s Playbook. The course includes 11 modules, introducing basic marketing strategies, tactics for finding new customers and methods for operating a successful home-based business. The course is offered for $499.00 and financing is available.
Organizations like these also often provide graduates with recommendations for business resources, such as professional printing services.
Vendors are still needed for this event, with spaces offered for $65.00. A registration form may be obtained by emailing United Vendors of America.
The Women’s Business Expo will be held on Saturday July 31st from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, located at 1801 Newtown Pike in Lexington. The event is free for women to attend, however registration in advance is required on Eventbrite.
