Lexington book festival celebrates milestone year

Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lexington will be holding a festival in November where book lovers can meet several noteworthy authors.

The 40th Annual Kentucky Book Festival is a convention that will consist of both virtual and online activities. Several accomplished writers will be attending the show, including Sara Walter Combs, Tom Clavin, and Alice Faye Duncan. Published chef Ouita Michel will host a luncheon for $55 per ticket where the menu comprises recipes from her first cookbook, and author Margaret Verble will have a cocktail party fans can attend for $45.

The Kentucky Book Festival aims to connect book lovers with authors while providing readers with access to new Books. The event also creates a safe environment for discussion and learning about writing. More than 100 authors will be attending the festival and can be visited by eventgoers for book signings and writing workshops. Those who set up booths at conventions similar to this may use banner printing to draw more attention to their stalls.

The main book festival held at Joseph-Beth Booksellers will occur on Saturday, November 6 at 10:00 am. The other activities affiliated with the convention will begin on November 1. A complete list of available programs and prices can be found on the festival’s website. Companies interested in supporting the Kentucky Book Festival can become a sponsor.
