Baking enthusiasts and holiday lovers will be excited to learn that a cookie decorating course is coming through Lexington next month, and all skill levels are welcome to participate.
The Sugar Cookie Decorating Workshop is set to bring an early taste of Christmas to the area. The event, led by The Traveling Cupcake, will guide guests through a 90-minute instructional course as they learn to create impressive holiday cookies.
The course will cover the basics of making and decorating sugar cookies, including icing options, cookie recipes, and decorating strategies. Guests will leave the class with an enhanced understanding of making sugar cookies, and techniques to improve the decorating process.
Beginners and curious individuals are welcome to register and attend the class. The theme of the cookie decorating will be Beachy Christmas. Flyer printing is an effective option when spreading awareness of such events in the local community.
Attendees eight years of age and older are welcome to attend and learn. All supplies will be provided by the event organizer, including a box to take home the cookies participants create to spread the joy at home.
The Local Lex Market will hold the cookie decorating course on Saturday, July 20, starting at 1:00 PM and ending at 3:00 PM. Tickets are available online, with prices starting at $55 per attendee.
