The Rupp Arena will host a performance by the legendary Latino-American comedian Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias this March, as part of his 2022 tour.
Iglesias currently holds a prominent position as one of the nation’s most successful stand-up comedians. Over 25 million fans follow his social media channels. The Hollywood Reporter included him in a list of Top 40 Comedians alongside big names such as Jerry Seinfeld and Lorne Michaels. He has also performed on such big-name stages as Madison Square Garden, the Staples Center, and the Sydney Opera House.
His film and TV accomplishments are also numerous, alongside his live recorded stand-up performances. He has starred in the original Netflix comedy series “Mr. Iglesias” and hosts the comedy competition show “Unleashed.” Along with this, he has performed voice and live action roles in the likes of “Coco,” “Magic Mike,” “Ugly Dolls.”
During his performances, Iglesias speaks of personal experiences with his family and friends, and his many adventures on the road. These are decorated with sound effects and imitations which he is able to create using his own voice.
