Hebron hosts canine camp

An upcoming event in Hebron will allow dog owners to show off their pets’ abilities at a sanctioned event.

The Stoney Run Canine Camp in Hebron is the host venue for the upcoming AKC Fetch Test. The American Kennel Club (AKC) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1884. It is the trusted, recognized expert in training, health, and breed information for all dogs. The organization is an active advocate for responsible dog ownership and also works to advance dog sports. The Fetch Test is sanctioned by the AKC.

The event gives dogs an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to fetch in a professional, competitive setting. Stoney Run provides the venue, a facility covering 20 acres where dog owners can participate in sanctioned canine sports and generally celebrate their love for these companion animals.

Participants can expect a competition focused on how well the dogs fetch, and is open to dog owners, canine sports enthusiasts, AKC competitors, and members of the local community. People who wish to take part should register their dogs on the Stoney Run website, and check for any additional information. They should bring any supplies and standard competition gear their dog needs with them to the test.

The Fetch Test will take place on October 3 at the Stoney Run Canine Camp and Academy, located at 463 South County Line Road. When they play outdoor events like this, organizers can work with banner printing to create fun decorations for the occasion.
